Dedicated to Building Colorado’s Writing Community, the Colorado Writers’ Café provides an easy way for writers to connect with multiple writing groups, discover networking opportunities, and find the writing classes and presentations that will help them develop their skills as writers.
Whether you are just starting your first memoir, writing short stories, or crafting the great-American novel the Colorado Writers’ Café can help writers of all levels find their tribes.
As you progress through our highly interactive courses, you will not only explore a variety of intriguing characters and wrestle with fascinating moral dilemmas, but you will also hone your particular perspective on life’s purposes as well.
Are you interested in how people have told stories to bring order and purpose to their lives? Our curriculum is designed for you to complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree at CCD and transfer to a university to complete a Bachelor of Arts (B. In this program, you will learn to read and write thoughtfully by engaging with some of the world’s greatest minds from a variety of the world’s great cultures.
Throughout this process, you will gain invaluable reading, writing and thinking skills that will apply to an endless number of careers, including media, public relations, law, marketing, advertising, and teaching. Engage in a wide variety of courses while at CCD in the areas of college writing, college composition and reading, humanities, and literature.
Finally, as you take the last courses in our curriculum, you will be ready for the next step; transfer to a university, where you will complete the second half of a B. Learn to read and write thoughtfully with our award-winning professors and develop the foundation you need.

We are looking for instructors who are interested in leading one or more of the following activities: We are looking for Instructors of a variety of times, days, and locations starting as soon as late April and continuing on a weekly basis through each season.
